All rights not expressly granted in this agreement are reserved by the respective rights owners. You may not assert any right to revenue from a collecting society, social media website, content sharing platform or any other third party in respect of photocopying, digital copying, sharing, distribution or other secondary uses of the licensed content.

Licensing Request

By making musical works (compositions) and audio recordings (collectively also referred to as “music”) available on our website, KOI Music GmbH is not granting you or anyone any license to utilize music, compositions, trademarks, or other materials.

You are welcome to use our music for private test or sample use only, for up to 30 days following download. However, unless a licence is negotiated and paid for, music content cannot be used in any (private or commercial) final materials or any publicly available materials.

For a license, please contact studio@koimusic via email. You can use our license contact form for your request. Your license fee will be calculated on the information provided. Only a signed license agreement will allow you to use our music in your project.

Please include the following information in your request:

 

    • your contact information

    • title/artist/composer and version of the music you want to use

    • short description of your project (film/commercial), scene description and intended use including length

    • where you want to use your project (territory, e.g. Europe, World etc.)

    • how long you want to use your project (term, e.g. 2 years or perpetuity)

    • desired media (e.g. online, cinema, tv etc.)

    • campaign details and budget, if applicable.

Our music may not be used for unlawful purposes (pornographic, defamatory, or other unlawful manner), may not be sold as an audio or standalone file and may not be used without crediting composer, artist, publisher and label. You may not alter our music except for technical reasons.

No Warranties

KOI Music GmbH bears no liability whatsoever for the music which KOI Music GmbH provides for download. KOI Music GmbH shall not be liable to any party for any loss, injury, harm or damage arising from the use of content/recordings or compositions of any kind including without limitation warranties as to performance of satisfactory quality of the recordings, results of use or accuracy, reliability or content of any data, information, service or goods referred to in any part of the Recordings. Further on, KOI Music GmbH shall not be liable for any damage caused by downloading the Recordings. KOI Music GmbH shall not be obliged to conclude a license with anyone and shall not be held liable for any the reimbursement of any frustrated or wasted expenditure.

KOI Music GmbH may add to, change, or remove any part of these Legal Terms at any time, without notice. Any changes to these Terms and Conditions of Use or any terms posted on this Website apply as soon as they are posted. By continuing to use this Website after any changes are posted, you are indicating your acceptance of those changes. KOI Music GmbH may add, change, discontinue, remove, or suspend any other Content posted on this Website, including features and specifications of products described or depicted on the Website, temporarily or permanently, at any time, without notice and without liability.

German law applies to the exclusion of UN purchasing law. Berlin, Germany is the place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising in connection with the use of our music. Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, nothing shall prevent KOI Music GmbH from commencing and pursuing disputes in any the breach has been committed.
